Useful comparisons start with clear sources and a clear point of view.

Who publishes this website?

The Best Print & Mail team publishes this website. We research online letter services and maintain the comparisons and guides.

What the recommendations mean

The default order is an editorial shortlist of services for US recipients, based on documented features and the tasks they support. We look at document input, recipient destinations, guest checkout, postal products, business tools, and APIs. The order is an editorial recommendation based on documented capabilities, not a measured service-quality score.

Filters narrow the documented options. Services with unconfirmed guest checkout are not included when “No account needed” is selected. “US Certified Mail” means an explicitly advertised US Certified product; a general tracking claim does not qualify.

Sources and dates

The directory includes 25 US service profiles. Research dates range from 14 to 20 October 2026. Each profile links to official product sources and states its source-check date. Linked products from the same operator can have separate listings when the workflows differ; known relationships appear in their profiles.

What we have assessed

We reviewed advertised capabilities and published setup information. We have not placed test orders, paid for competitor services, or measured physical delivery. We do not publish invented star ratings, customer reviews, speed scores, or test results.

Price and delivery comparisons

We show the pricing approach rather than claim a universal lowest price. A fair quote uses the same destination, page count, print settings, postal class, tax treatment, and evidence options. Provider starting prices can use different conditions.

A recipient destination does not establish a local print origin. A processing status does not establish postal delivery. Check the chosen provider’s current route, full total, and postal product before payment.
